RSPB visit Seahills Farm

18th December 2019, we had a site meeting at Seahills Farm with five experts from the RSPB. It was a lovely sunny day and we walked around the farm looking for additional areas of land where we could establish habitats to attract threatened wildlife species.

We identified 6 new locations and considered which species to prioritise so we could provide the bespoke seed mix for sowing this spring. It was decided to prioritise corn buntings and little blue butterflies as our favoured location and established presence of these threatened species provide a good foundation to expand upon.

We look forward to further visits from RSPB in 2020.
